Diabetes Empowerment Center
The Diabetes Empowerment Center provides education material and programs that encourage and support healthy lifestyle habits among community members. These programs include physical activity classes for weight control, cooking demonstrations to educate residents about healthy diet, and health education events around diabetes prevention and management. The goal of the center is to educate the community in the campaign against diabetes and empower residents to take action and improve their health.
